Understanding Attachments and Supporting Children through the use of Therapeutic Parenting Strategies.

GLH: 10 hours

The learner will be able to explain the principles of attachment theory and identify the significant patterns in attachment, in order to understand why some children need Therapeutic Parenting. Using the information and research which underpins this unit, and drawing on the case study provided, learners will discuss examples and demonstrate their understanding.

This course can be used as evidence for part of the Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Parenting Unit 1. (3.1, 3.2)

I really enjoyed unit 1..until the assessment at the end. Very interesting and helpful material but hard to consolidate the learning into an essay.
